We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help grow our sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry events.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable starting conversations, meeting new people, representing the company professionally, and working closely with the CEO at conferences and events. The SDR will play an important role in creating new relationships, generating leads, and turning those connections into qualified sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify potential customers through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels.
  • Make outbound calls and conduct consistent follow-up with prospects.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and other company events.
  • Travel with and support the CEO at conferences and industry events as needed.
  • Represent the company at our booth, greet attendees, and engage potential customers and partners.
  • Meet and greet prospects, introduce the company and its services, and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Confidently approach attendees and initiate conversations rather than waiting for prospects to come to the booth.
  • Collect contact information and qualify leads generated at conferences and events.
  • Follow up promptly with all event leads and coordinate next steps after conferences.
  • Help prepare for conferences, including booth materials, prospect lists, meeting schedules, and event outreach.
  • Research attendees, companies, and decision-makers prior to events to identify high-value prospects.
  • Maintain accurate prospect activity, notes, and follow-up tasks within the CRM.
  • Work closely with the CEO and sales team to improve messaging, targeting, and lead-generation strategies.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects and manage follow-up through the sales process.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with executives, business owners, and decision-makers.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting in-person prospecting.
  • Ability to professionally represent the company at conferences and events.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly based on the company’s conference schedule.
  • Previous sales, hospitality, customer service, business development, or event experience is preferred.
  • Experience using CRM and sales prospecting tools is a plus.

Success in This Role

Success will be measured by:

  • Qualified meetings scheduled
  • New relationships developed at conferences and events
  • Conference leads generated
  • Post-conference follow-up and conversion
  • Sales-qualified opportunities created
  • Pipeline generated
  • Outbound prospecting activity
  • Consistent and timely follow-up

This person should be someone who can walk into a room, confidently introduce themselves, represent the company well, work alongside the CEO, and turn conversations into business opportunities.
