Splash Investments Limited is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Front Line Associate to join our growing team. This role is critical to our day-to-day operations and requires a high level of accuracy, integrity, and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will support financial services, shipping operations, and loan facilitation through our franchise partnerships, including UnionOne Express and First Union Financial, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate consistently delivers outstanding service, processes transactions accurately, and demonstrates flexibility to work across both our Wakefield and Montego Bay locations.

Financial & Remittance Services

  • Examine and verify transaction details for MoneyGram, Western Union, Xoom, Ria, Remitly, and JN Money Services
  • Accurately enter customer transactions into respective partner software systems and issue computer-generated receipts
  • Verify customer identity by collecting and validating government-issued ID and TRN in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Disburse and receive cash in strict adherence to established money-handling policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper storage and filing of transaction receipts and documentation
  • Perform end-of-day (EOD) cash balancing to ensure all transactions align with cash collected and disbursed
  • Investigate, report, and account for any cash discrepancies promptly
  • Monitor vault balances and order cash supplies to meet daily operational needs
  • Inform and educate customers on Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) regulations and compliance requirements
  • Quote exchange rates accurately using authorized systems (e.g., MoneyGram platform)

Shipping & Inventory Operations (UnionOne Express)

  • Receive, collect, and process customer packages for local pickup
  • Accurately add and update package information in the local inventory and tracking system
  • Coordinate package releases and ensure proper customer verification prior to handover
  • Maintain organized and secure storage of incoming shipments

Loan Services (First Union Financial Franchise)

  • Solicit loan applications from qualified customers
  • Conduct preliminary assessments and assist with loan approvals in line with franchise guidelines
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance throughout the loan application process
  • Clearly explain loan terms, repayment obligations, and policies to customers

Sales, Customer Service & Administration

  • Explain, promote, and sell all company services, including:
  • MoneyGram, Western Union, JN Money Services
  • Mobile Top-Up & Bill Payment Services
  • Loans & Financial Products
  • Shipping & Courier Services
  • Other value-added offerings
  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as cheque requisitions, lodgments, and record management
  • Deliver consistently high levels of customer service while managing multiple transactions efficiently
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by management
  • Minimum of CSEC subjects, including Mathematics and English (additional qualifications are an asset)
  • Prior experience in cash handling, remittance services, retail banking, customer service, or financial services is preferred
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Ability to work flexible hours and rotate between Wakefield and Montego Bay locations
  • Comfortable working with computer systems and transaction-based software
