Shift Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Shift Leader to oversee and guide our talented team.  ​​​​​You must ensure the integrity of the job conducted by the staff, keep record of the production and validate safety protocols.

​​​​​​​Responsibilities of the Position:

  • To manage the teamwork to meet the company’s production goals per shift, individually and collectively;  ​​​​​​​supervising employees, assigning duties, and creating a shift schedule.
  • Ensure that 5’s practices are held in place and the sorting process is conducted under the company’s standards. (Sorting bottles and crates, stacking and housekeeping). All activities will be conducted on feet and under the elements of weather.
  • To conduct job inductions and training programs for all new operators (including quality and/or FL).
  • To communicate and coordinate with his counterparts; ​​​​​​​conducting performance reviews and sharing feedback with both upper management and team members. To work according to the company’s priorities, get conformity signatures and keep a record of the production at all levels.
  • To conduct quality audits on Sorting Operators to validate that the work is meeting the company’s standards and keep control of any deviations.
  • To correct any faulty performances and ensure that all operators are performing evenly.
  • The Shift Leader will conduct safety briefings at the beginning of the shift and assign workstations to Sorting Operators; ensuring compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.
  • To elaborate and deliver to all involved people the required reports.
  • Sanitize all areas to meet standards.

 ​​​​​​​Qualifications/Skills:   

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering: Mechanic, Industry or Logistics.
  • ​​​​​​​A minimum of 3 years as a supervisor in industry-related activities.
  • Experience with LSS or Lean Manufacturing tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills like decision-making, motivation and goal-setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organization and time management abilities
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively
