The Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing security personnel, ensuring optimal staffing at client locations, and providing comprehensive training and motivation to
officers. This role requires close collaboration with clients to meet the goals and objectives set by the company.
- Responsibilities/Duties
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relations and Advocacy:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and clients.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality security services.
- Regularly meet with client representatives to provide status updates, address concerns, and support security planning and assessments.
- Review and update standard operating procedures and security metrics.
- Verify accuracy of Security Officer site reports and ensure client directives are followed.
- Conduct personal inspections of all posts to evaluate security staff performance.
Staff Management and Development :
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, training, development, and retention of Security Officers.
- Evaluate service quality and initiate necessary corrective actions promptly.
- Plan, assign, and direct work; counsel employees and administer disciplinary actions as needed.
- Identify potential areas of vulnerability and risk and facilitate corrective action plans.
Regulatory Compliance and Professional Environment:
- Maintain a professional environment in compliance with PSRA and applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure staff understand and comply with regulations and policies.
- Enforce laws and policies effectively and professionally, ensuring security officers demonstrate positivity and effectiveness during enforcement.
Equipment and Resource Management:
- Ensure response team vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
- Manage and submit payroll records (Timesheets/Location sheets) promptly for payroll processing.
Operational Readiness:
- Remain on-call as required to ensure tasks are completed and communicated to client representatives timely.
- Assist in preparing and coordinating the weekly roster for security staffing.
- Ensure effective scheduling to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs.

Education/Specialized Skills
- Associate degree/High School Diploma
- Registered with PSRA
- Minimum of three years of previous security supervision or leadership experience.
- Flexible schedule with on-call availability.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attentive to detail and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with security equipment and protocols, such as Firearms is
required.
