Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor will lead and coordinate daily operations on the production floor, manage a team of operators and technicians, and ensure adherence to food safety regulations and company policies. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Supervise and manage production activities to ensure timely and efficient output of products.
  • Monitor production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet targets.
  • Enforce compliance with food safety standards, GMP protocols, and company policies.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote professional growth and performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of production metrics, downtime, and operational data.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve operational challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Bachelor’s degree in is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within food manufacturing or a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP standards.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in production planning and reporting tools/software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

The Production Manager will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, overseeing daily production operations. The role requires full-time, on-site availability, with shifts that may extend beyond regular business hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on production demands. The position involves standing for extended periods, working in varying temperatures, and exposure to noise, dust, and machinery. Strict adherence to food safety, GMP protocols, and workplace safety regulations is required. The role also demands strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet production targets and resolve operational challenges efficiently.
