Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor will lead and coordinate daily operations on the production floor, manage a team of operators and technicians, and ensure adherence to food safety regulations and company policies. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on continuous improvement

  • Supervise and manage production activities to ensure timely and efficient output of products.
  • Monitor production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet targets.
  • Enforce compliance with food safety standards, GMP protocols, and company policies.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote professional growth and performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of production metrics, downtime, and operational data.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve operational challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Bachelor’s degree in food science is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within food manufacturing or a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP standards.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in production planning and reporting tools/software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
