The Production Supervisor will lead and coordinate daily operations on the production floor, manage a team of operators and technicians, and ensure adherence to food safety regulations and company policies. - Responsibilities/Duties
- Supervise and manage production activities to ensure timely and efficient output of products.
- Monitor production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet targets.
- Enforce compliance with food safety standards, GMP protocols, and company policies.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote professional growth and performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, downtime, and operational data.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve operational challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
- Skills & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food science is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within food manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP standards.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in production planning and reporting tools/software.
