The Maintenance Team Supervisor will oversee the performance of a team of maintenance technicians responsible for repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. - Responsibilities/Duties
- Lead, mentor, and manage the maintenance team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals.
- Assign and prioritize maintenance tasks, balancing preventative and corrective maintenance needs.
- Monitor the repair and servicing of equipment, including PLC systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, electrical components, and mechanical machinery.
- Troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and provide hands-on support as needed.
- Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and maintenance schedules to guide the team effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP protocols, and company policies.
- Track maintenance activities, manage inventory, and oversee monthly stock counts.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related concerns and drive process improvements.
- Provide regular performance evaluations and training opportunities to enhance team capabilities
- Skills & Certifications
- Tertiary training and qualification in Industrial Engineering/Mechnical/Electronical or a related field.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in maintenance, with some supervisory or leadership experience.
- Expertise in electrical systems, PLC programming, and instrumentation tools.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to foster teamwork and manage multiple priorities.
