Account Managers

The Sales Account Manager will oversee sales activities and develop relationships with customers.  Responsibilities include achieving sales volume and revenue targets; developing and maintaining market intelligence; and helping to develop and execute Jamaica Aggregate’s commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans
• Initiates sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments
• Ensuring that sales objectives are achieved
• Providing timely and accurate sales forecast
• Develop new business by analyzing account potential
• Tracking account targets
• Develop, analyze and maintain market intelligence for construction projects
• Closes sales by overcoming objections
• Prepare quotations and bid contracts

Results/Accountabilities:
• Volume and revenue
• New Customer Acquisition
• Monthly Sales Targets
• Market intelligence
• Collections

Education and Work Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration preferred
• 3+ years sales experience exceeding quotas
• Industry experience a plus (aggregates, construction, building material)

Knowledge and Skills:
• Strong selling skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Strong negotiation skills

The role is primarily office-based, involving work at a desk with a computer, phone, and other office equipment. The work environment is typically quiet to moderately busy, with regular interactions with colleagues and occasional clients.

Physical Requirements:
The role requires prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and using office equipment. Minimal physical effort is needed, aside from occasional lifting or moving of light office supplies.
